No, absolutley not. Both these options are safe to use on natural nails. It is advisable to use liquid glue when you need more wear time or longevity. Also, there might be a little residue of liquid glue after removing press-on nails, which is absolutely normal. You may use the buffer/filer to remove this or it will come of eventually with time.
